"Spring Tea" is the first in a series of four seasonal
teapot designs that will be released near the start of
each season in 2005. This pattern shows the first
blush of spring on a bright flowering vine stitched
over a pretty little teapot done in hues of violet. The
use of hand-dyed fabric and some specialty stitches
combine for a special flair. A handmade
Forget-Me-Not button on the lid completes the
distinctive Fiddlestitch Cottage look.
This design fits nicely in a 6-inch (15-cm) square
frame, or it could be stitched onto a panel and sewn
into a homemade tea cozy as a special gift for
someone (maybe even for you!).
