"Hope for a Future Without Breast Cancer"
"Hope Tea" features five additional charted words
(Survivor, Mother, Sister, Friend and Care) that can be
used in place of "Hope".
This design was originally inspired by Tracy's Mom, a
breast cancer survivor for 33 years to date, but was
given new urgency when we heard the story of a young
local woman with breast cancer. She is a member of
the St. Thomas University Lady Tommies women's
hockey team (a friend of ours is her coach) and the
team was raising funds on her behalf to donate to the
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Fiddlestitch Cottage contributed all revenues from sales
of "Hope Tea" in a local limited edition pre-release,
which raised almost $300 to add to the team's
fund-raising efforts. All tolled, the team raised over
$5000 - great job, girls !!!
In future, a portion of all sales of "Hope Tea" will be
donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
